Simhachalam Temple
A Varaha Narasimha temple on Simhachalam hill, one of the most visited temples in Visakhapatnam.
The Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple at Simhachalam sits on a hill about 300 metres above sea level, roughly 16 km from the city centre. It is one of the more architecturally significant temples in the region, with a distinct sanctum that stays covered in sandal paste for most of the year, uncovered only briefly each spring.
